Press Release: IPAC Commends Governor Agbu Kefas on Second Anniversary
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Inter-Party Affairs, on behalf of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Hon. Prince Jonah Bako, extends heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas, on the second anniversary of his administration.
In a statement, the Special Adviser, Hon. Bako, lauded the Kefas-led administration for its remarkable achievements over the past two years, highlighting numerous developmental initiatives and significant strides. He particularly praised the Governor’s commitment to positioning Taraba State as a hub for infrastructural development and investment. The recently concluded Taraba State International Investment Summit (Taravest 2025) was cited as a pivotal step toward this goal.
“Taravest 2025 attracted distinguished investors from across the globe, showcasing the Governor’s passion and vision for transforming Taraba into an investment destination,” the statement read.
The statement also commended the Governor for fulfilling his campaign promise of providing free and compulsory education for primary and secondary school pupils, significantly easing the financial burden on parents. Additionally, the reduction in tuition fees for state-owned tertiary institutions was noted as a commendable initiative that has relieved families across the state.
“Parents and guardians are experiencing unprecedented relief due to His Excellency’s policies on free education and reduced tertiary institution fees,” Bako stated.
The administration’s efforts in enhancing security were also highlighted, with notable success in curbing kidnapping, banditry, and ethnic conflicts. These achievements have created a safer environment, fostering confidence among investors seeking opportunities in Taraba State.
IPAC, representing all 19 registered political parties, pledged its unwavering support for the administration’s inclusive governance approach, transcending party lines. “The opposition parties have resolved to offer their full support to ensure the continued success of this administration,” the statement affirmed.
